In Wilmington, the busiest hours are Friday and Saturday evenings and any night with a big game, when quoted delivery times can stretch past an hour; ordering before 5 p.m. or picking up yourself avoids the wait. Delivery radiuses are small, often two to five miles, and a minimum order plus a delivery fee is normal, with a tip of a few dollars for the driver on top. Lunch specials such as two slices and a drink, or a personal pie, are the cheapest way to eat at most shops across North Carolina on weekdays. Toppings are priced per item and half-and-half pies are usually free to request. Gluten-free crusts and vegan cheese are increasingly common but often cost a few dollars extra, and cross-contact in a shared oven is standard unless the shop says otherwise.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 11 amβ9 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. Wilmington is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Wilmington is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across North Carolina's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Antonio's Pizza is BACK. The original owner, Willie is back at the helm! I went Friday night, and the bar is open and fully stocked! Willie was slinging pizzas, Jess was pouring drinks and the place was alive with positive energy. The food was AMAZING. We had two pizzas (a white and a sausage). They even brought back the original menu, including the Pizza Popa! Amazing meatballs, mozzarella sticks and calzone!! I highly recommend giving Antonio's .. you won't be disappointed.

Ordered 3 large pizzas for pickup on an extremely busy Saturday night. Short wait time of about 30 minutes. Pizzas were huge and loaded with toppings. Crust was thin and tasty. Fed 8 adults with plenty of leftovers for the next day. Price was very reasonable making this a great value for a crowd!

Appetizers, food, and dessert were delicious. The owner and staff were very friendly and attentive. The mozzarella sticks and garlic cheese bread were great appetizers. Also, their homemade ranch was amazing. Great place to go with family/friends, we will definitely be back!

I use to argue that Antonioβs had the best pizza in Wilmington. The last couple of times has been hit or miss. The pizza tonight was very disappointing. It was okay but the pepperoni didnβt even cover the pizza which is disappointing considering how much you pay for the pizza.

This was my first time going there. I felt that the food was delicious! The pasta was perfectly cooked and the Alfredo sauce was so rich and thick and creamy. I was full and still kept trying to eat it. They are definitely generous with their homemade Caesar dressing. It was delicious too. And I ordered the white pizza because I heard that they have two new amazing chefs in the kitchen, just recently added, and they are right those crusts and pasta are delicious! I was greeted by a sweet young lady at the desk and seated immediately and my waitress was just so kind. I did keep getting checked on. There were quite a few people in the restaurant. I feel that the ambiance there was just very happy. Lots of smiles with the staff and I could see that the owner was walking around to the tables talking to people. Great happy smiling staff, fantastic food! I highly suggest that everyone please go and see what these new chefs are cooking up. It's genuinely authentic stuff! My stomach didn't get upset with their pasta either. I usually have a gluten reaction very quickly. I heard that they use Italian flour. (No round-up allowed in Europe!) I'm a fan.
